North Rim Open Space/Right-of-way Restoration

The primary design goal of the North Rim development is to preserve and enhance the beauty and character of the community's native environment. Once completed, each home is required to restore any disturbed areas to their pre-existing condition. Developing design guidelines required a detailed native plant inventory along with density studies. These were used as the framework for restoration design and implementation. Design elements include planting design for all disturbed areas associated with infrastructure and lodge construction, rock outcropping design and location, trail, entry, and park design. Once restored, the result is a seamless native landscape that offers a unique living experience.
